Telehealth

Michelle understands that a variety of reasons might make in-person appointments difficult, including concerns regarding illness, scheduling, and distance from Birchwood’s physical location. To address this, Birchwood Counseling offers telehealth sessions to those interested in this option.  Client must be located in the state of Illinois or Florida at the time of the appointment.  Telehealth services are offered through a HIPAA-compliant video service.

Please be advised that due to the nature of therapy with very young children, it is sometimes not within the child’s best interest to offer virtual sessions. Each client seeking telehealth will be assessed to determine if telehealth will be effective in meeting that client’s needs.

Birchwood Counseling strongly advises clients to check with their insurance plan to confirm that telehealth services are covered.
