Birchwood Counseling is in network with the following insurance companies:

• Cigna (Evernorth) PPO
• United Healthcare/Optum PPO
We strongly encourage you to verify insurance benefits with your insurance provider prior to beginning services at Birchwood Counseling.

Policies
Payment: A credit card kept on file in our secure EHR is required for all clients. Co-pays are due at the time of service. This card will be used to collect co-pays at the time of service, as well as any balances marked as “patient responsibility” once the claim has been processed by the insurance company.
Cancellation: A 24 hour cancellation policy is strictly enforced. Cancellation with less than 24 hours notice will require a late cancellation fee to be charged to the client’s card on file. No further appointments can be scheduled until this fee is collected.
